The Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SAO RAS) and the Cassiopea Jewelry House are implementing a joint educational project. As part of the partnership, a digital avatar is being created that will interpret interesting facts from astronomy to form educational content. Astronomy is a philosophical science. It teaches us to understand the laws of the world more deeply.
The partnership between Cassiopea and the CAO RAS is being implemented in stages and includes both educational and cultural components.
The first stage is the creation of a digital avatar that uses knowledge about the universe to prepare educational content.
The next stages include the launch of a digital platform for the exchange of scientific information, joint events (lectures, workshops, exhibitions), regular coverage of astronomical research in public channels, as well as the launch of a joint collection in which jewelry images will refer to the topic of space exploration. The project is aimed at popularizing science and developing a dialogue between the scientific community and a wide audience through modern visual and educational formats.
The Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences is the largest astronomical center in Russia. The observatory's structure includes eight optical telescopes, including the BTA (Large Alt-Azimuth Telescope)— the largest in Eurasia, and the world's largest RATAN-600 radio telescope with a ring antenna.
The SAO RAS conducts fundamental research in the field of astrophysics, including the study of the structure and development of the universe, galaxies, stars and exoplanets.
Cassiopea is a Russian jewelry brand. The main direction is the creation of jewelry with an idea and visual content that combines design, symbolism and technology.
The project with the CAO RAS is part of the brand's educational initiative and is aimed at drawing attention to modern achievements of Russian science.
